Architectural Review Committee

Property owners are encouraged to create residences that reflect their personal style; however, in achieving this goal, it is imperative that enhancements to the homes' exteriors and landscaping compliment those of their neighbors as well as the community at-large.

For this reason, all property enhancements must be approved by the ARC, pursuant to the Conditions, Restrictions and Protective Covenants, prior to the commencement of work.  It is the ARC's responsibility to ensure quality materials are used, the external design is in harmony with existing structures, and the location is appropriate with respect to topography and finish grade elevation.

Property owners should submit their requests via the Property Enhancement Request Form in writing at least one month prior to the tentative start date to allow the ARC sufficient time to review their requests and respond accordingly.  Each project must include the Property Enhancement Request Form, detailed renderings of the project and any additional applicable documentation.  Property owners should expect to be contacted by a member of the ARC to schedule an on-site visit prior to approval as well as a "walk-through" at the conclusion of each approved project.  All final approvals will be sent from the ARC to the appropriate property owners.  Failure to comply may result in a fine and/or the property owner having to reverse the project entirely.

Property owners unsure of whether or not their projects need approval are encouraged to contact the ARC.

ADDITIONAL ARC GUIDELINES

Examples of projects requiring approval include, but are not limited to, landscaping, fencing, exterior home changes (i.e. painting, additions), outbuildings, shade structures, and patios.
