Residents are allowed to use the Ashley Woods Pavilion for special events. Please check the Reserved Dates list (below) for availability and sign-up using the form on this page. Reservations are taken on a first-come, first-served basis.
A refundable deposit of $25 is required to reserve your date. The deposit can be mailed to the POA or hand-delivered to Avery Jones at 158 CBL. Prior to your event, the pavilion and park will be inspected. Residents are responsible for the facility and expected to clear the pavilion and surrounding park areas (if used) of food, trash and debris after use. After the event, the pavilion and park will be inspected. If it is returned to its original condition, the deposit will be returned; however, failure to leave the pavilion and park as it was prior to the event will result in the forfeiture of the $25 deposit.
If you are interested in renting a port-a-john for your event, please make a note in the "event purpose" field so we are aware one will be on property. We recommend contacting Outhouse Portable Toilets directly at 828-884-9511 to arrange delivery and pick-up as well as payment. For planning purposes, the cost is approximately $85 and the property owner is responsible for payment.
